ALSO!

Exciting news!  Last night at the Art Walk, not only was I happy with the sales of my work, but I was also honored by the Portland fashion blog Fore Front Fashion!  They were nice enough to stop by and snap a shot of my dress on display, and hopefully it will be posted on their blog!

Business card!

The more the merrier.

After evaluating the first no stress dress, I decided to make some more.  This teal version is slightly longer and has a brown lace belt that ties in the back.  It was sold at the Art Walk last night.  The bottom most picture is of a pink woven fabric I used for one.  This time, adding ruched fabric strands along the neckline for a little extra pizzazz.

Decorative stitch on bias tape for the straps.

No Stress Dress

Cut, sewn and ready to wear in less then two hours, this dress was the perfect morning project.  Its basically two rectangles with top corners cut off and ribbon run through the neck; it couldn't get much simpler.  I made a button closure belt to cinch the waste, and used the excess ribbon up top for decoration.
