10:27 a.m.

Part of a print portfolio for my Intaglio class.  The theme to this portfolio was "10:27 a.m."  I used a soft ground on the copper to simulate the sheets of my bed. This relates to the theme because I am usually only in my bed at 10:27 a.m. one day a week; the other six days I am in school, making prints.  The bottom half is sewn kozo paper that I wrote on with ink.

The air is cold, but the sheets are warm.
